A 70:30 fiber optic ratio coupler splits optical power into two outputs — 70% to the main output and 30% to the secondary. This type of coupler is commonly used in FTTH and passive optical networks for applications where a stronger signal is needed at one end and a smaller portion for monitoring, testing, or secondary service connections.
